Spicy Red Snapper

Fresh seafood is a daily diet of the islands whether it may be fish, crabs, prawns or sea urchins.

There are so many different species of seafood on the islands and it’s always a treat to have at least one variety of seafood in our meals whether it may be for lunch or dinner.

Mom always cooked snapper in her traditional way which comprised of lots of spices, fresh ginger, garlic and fresh chilli peppers.

We had spicy snapper for lunch as a side dish or sometimes it complimented dinner with curried sapper in coconut milk.

No matter when we had spicy snapper it was a treat and Mama knew how to get to our hearts.

Today I was craving and craving spicy snappy the way she used to cook for the family. So I decided to cook some for my craving mmmm :)
