Canned Ocean Mackerel
One of the many dishes I grew up eating was canned ocean mackerel cooked with potatoes in curry sauce. Mom had perfected this dish and it was a treat when she made this. I had this dish for lunch and dinner.
Mom knew the right days to cook this dish 
.It was like she read my mind, here I was thinking about it and next thing I knew she was in the kitchen whipping this dish up.
Mom never had a fancy kitchen or a fancy stove to cook on. A simple kerosene primus is all she had but the dishes she cooked on it was finger licking good
My version of Fiji Ocean canned mackerel curry.
