Sometimes even the head chef Sazzie needs a break from preparing food and putting and getting all the raw ingredients together. He wants an off day too Does he deserve one? hmmmm of course he does as many other cooks and chefs around who are like me LOL
Living in an ethnic community so diverse it’s always a treat to try different cultural foods. Today I decided to treat Quissy and myself to a nice Indian/ Punjabi dish called tandoori chicken.
Tandoori chicken is basically chicken marinated in some beautiful aromatic spices consisting of masala, turmeric, yoghurt, chilli, garlic, and ginger. They are few different varieties of tandoori chicken flavours so am just giving you the very basic ingredients.
The colours vary accordingly to the food dyes that are added to it I really am not bound by colours as long it tastes good, the tongue is tantalised is all I care about .
There is a place by where I live that sells excellent marinated tandoori chicken so off I went to get myself couple of pounds of nice marinated tandoori chicken and fired up the grill.
MMM was worth the walk and flavours I chose was excellent .Let’s just leave it at this, I had 3 good helpings of the tandoori chicken. Quissy got some too ok ok LOL not that much of a piggy
